Should you really do something you love for work?

Should you really do something you love for work? I love videogames, but when I used to make, for a brief few months, YouTube-videos about my gaming, it wasn't fun. It sucked most of the joy out of playing videogames because it felt more like a job than what I play videogames for - which is fun.

I think people are saying to find your passion and making that into a career. Making gaming-videos on YouTube is more about video-editing than actually gaming, so since video-editing is not my passion, it wasn't a fun thing. Your passion would be something you could do forever and ever and not grow mentally tired of it. You would be physically tired and need to sleep, but you could do it every day. Video-editing almost every day was not fun. It was mentally and physically tiring.

Should you really do something you love for work? Absolutely. Find or make money off of doing something you love. Make sure that what you do the most in order to do that job is what you love the most as well.
