Nintendo Needs Third-Parties

This is a response to SuperMetaldave64's video:



I think it's a slippery slope to say EA is not needed. Sure, one company is not needed, but then say that a few more times. "Rockstar is not needed, Bethesda is not needed, 2K Games is not needed," and now they are all needed. If Nintendo hasn't learned that third-parties are important, then what have they learned with Wii U?

Nintendo should treat each third-party as precious and try to get as many as possible developing for NX.

I do not like spreading negativity out there, but I needed to warn people about this device. I bought this for 80 dollars on ebay; I'm not gonna link from whom, because he or she does not deserve more sales of this awful device. When it works, it works, albeit with flaws. The image produced is sharp, as a component-video signal should be, and the colors are accurate, except that there is a green tint to the entire picture. I've read that one has to open these things up and adjust the 'pots' inside (an electrical term) with a screwdriver. I never really tried doing that or minded the green tint too much, because it's very subtle. What I did mind a lot, was the fact that sometimes, it won't work, and I'll only get audio. This is a big problem. I wouldn't mind the colors being a little off, or there being some 'noise' in the video-signal, but when the success-rate of the thing actually working is 50%, it's a deal-breaker. I paid 80 dolla...

Inferior Port, But Still A Masterpiece

I bought this game because I wanted to play Pikmin again. I had played the original on Gamecube a lot, but had traded it in a long time ago. Sometimes you wanna play the games from your past. So if there is anyone like me in the world, who is mulling about whether to buy this or the Gamecube original, I would say, "Get the Gamecube original." Sure, there is widescreen, but as far as improvements, that's about it. The controls in the Gamecube version are superior. All things considered, however, this is still a highly playable game, and still a masterpiece. If you have never played the GC original, you probably won't even notice that the controls are slightly janky. So if the Gamecube controls were a 100, this port's would be a 95. In the GC game, you could control your aiming cursor and the Pikmin independently, with the left analog stick and the C-stick respectively; in this port, you cannot.
