My Theory On Project Cars For Wii U

I think it's a combination of a lot of factors. My conspiracy-theory is that they started development first on the PC, because it is the easiest to develop for. Either they lied about how the Wii U version looks, or they just dabbled with it. When the Xbone and PS4 were announced, they were probably thinking "Yes! Easy port-city! Let's ditch the Wii U version but not say anything!" I don't know if Bandai Namco played a part in getting Slighty Mad to ditch the Wii U, but I won't throw them under the bus.

Development on the three similar platforms of PC, Xbone, and PS4 happened simultaneously. It's kind of like how Ubisoft worked on the Wii U version of Watch Dogs after the other versions came out. After Project Cars was released, they tried to port the PC/Xbone/PS4 version to Wii U. Of course it's gonna be difficult because Wii U's specs are not as good. What did they expect? If they had been honorable and not lazy from the beginning, they would have developed the game with Wii U in mind, and had that version be the baseline version and port that version to other platforms. With Watch Dogs, Ubisoft at least had the PS3 and 360 versions to port from; Slightly Mad did not have that luxury.
