Things Xbox 360 Needs

1. Web Browser. Yes 720p and 1080p web browsing would be very nice 2. 720p and 1080p DVD upscaling, or upconverting, whatever. UPDATE: 360 does have #2 but still no #1. Retarded.

Finally Beat Blue Dragon

I finally beat this game, after a few hours of grinding SP on the Southwestern Deserted Island. The ending wasn't great, which was a fitting way to end a mediocre game. Next up is Lost Odyssey.

RJ Trade

Bruce Bowen didn't even start last season, barely getting minutes off the bench. You can't call him a defensive force anymore. Jefferson, on the other hand, was a consistent 17 - 19 PPG all season, and then he really stepped into the go-to scorer role during the last two months of the season. He was hitting jumpshots very consistently (the "weakest" part of his game). More than Jefferson, I am concerned with "Old Man" Tim Duncan, and "Fragile Freddy" Manu Ginobli.

Athletic vs. Good Jumper (as in person who jumps)

This is a response to an ill-informed Youtube video comment. james white is so overrated if he is so good why didnt his team go anywhere except down the drain He's not overrated - as a player. Just because he's a good dunker doesn't make him a good basketball player. I understand where you're coming from. First of all, I would like to address the incongruity of "athletic" and "good jumper". You can be athletic without being a good jumper, but as far as basketball players go, everyone who can jump is considered "athletic", and that's retarded. Michael Jordan shifted the paradigms by which basketball excellence was measured because he was skilled, as well as a good jumper. However, many fans think, and even general managers now will draft a player with a good vertical but with little basketball skill, over a bad jumper with high basketball skill, because they think a player can gain skill with practice, whereas a player can not...

Finally beat Twilight Princess

Yay, I finally beat Twilight Princess. Nice graphics in the cutscenes. Zelda, Midna, and Ganondorf looked great for Gamecube graphics. I'm glad the final dungeon was very short. Thank you, Nintendo. Ocarina of Time is still the best Zelda

WoW is so boring!

World of Warcraft is so boring! I can't stand playing this game anymore. It's the same damn thing over and over again. I feel like I'm playing Burning Crusade without doing arenas. I could stand to do BG honor farming during BC, but right now, it's so boring ZOMGWTFBBQ. Maybe I'll try healing.

Resident Evil 5... Dem-O!

Read the title of this blog post like the announcer in the RE games says the title when you start a new game. "Resident Evil 5... <= (this is a pause) Dem-O! (said like the guy said Zer-O in RE0)" Anyway, let's get to the point. RE5 demo is fantastic. The graphics are sick. It really helps that RE is a long-running franchise. Seeing the jump from RE4 to 5 is very rewarding, as opposed to seeing some new-fangled franchise that just started on these "next-gen" platforms. Great graphics are more appreciable when there is this standard standpoint from which to judge them. Of course, great graphics are great graphics regardless, but seeing one of your favorite franchises taking the next graphical leap is one of the best parts about being a gamer. From the get-go, you are presented with an awkward control scheme called "Type D". It is completely alien to RE4 veterans. I got easily destroyed by the hostile Africans with this setup. At this point, I was k...

Sonic Unleashed Is Actually Good

Let's get straight to the point - the werehog stages are actually fun. I do get some motion sickness, but it's certainly not as bad as Knuckles/Rouge boards from the Sonic Adventure series. Sonic Adventure was an epic leap to 3D that will always be remembered with fond memories, but Sonic Unleashed is the best 3D Sonic game since that one. Sonic Adventure 2 was not great. The Knuckles/Rouge boards were digital torture. Sonic Heroes was less bad, but the graphics were Dreamcast-quality on a 3rd or 4th generation PS2/GC/XB title. Unacceptable. Plus, it had that whole Sonic 3D Blast-proportions to the character models. Never played Shadow the Hedgehog. Sonic the Hedgehog, aka Sonic Next-Gen, aka Sonic 2006, is the worst Sonic game ever created. Never played Sonic and the Secret Rings. It screams cash-in, spinoff, low-quality. Sonic doesn't even become Super Sonic - he becomes Darkspine Sonic. Thanks a lot, Sega. I don't want GC graphics on the Wii. To reiterate...
